Dear Collingswood Resident:
The Borough is soliciting the public's input for the development of a comprehensive Community Recreation and Facilities Master Plan. The community-driven planning process will include identifying and analyzing existing programs through surveying, public outreach activities, and an analysis of current facilities, programs, and recreation trends - including best practices in similarly sized communities.
The goal is to work with the community and stakeholders to develop a plan that meets current and future recreation needs and serves residents of all ages and abilities in an equitable manner. Once completed, the plan and needs assessment can be used to help identify resources such as funding and guide the Borough Commission, School Board, stakeholders, and staff on programmatic needs and facility utilization and upgrades for recreational programs and facilities.
The survey will only take about 10 minutes to complete. Your responses will remain confidential. We need to hear from you to make the best decisions about community needs. We have selected ETC Institute, an independent survey company, to compile the confidential data received and present the results to the Recreation Master Plan Steering Committee.
